The trail starts from Sălașu de Sus towards Mălăiești on the asphalt road until you reach Mălăiești Fortress. From here you continue south on animal trails, until you reach a dirt road that goes across the creek and up the hill. Then you follow a more obvious road towards the south until you get to a cabin. From here the road gets very steep, after 500 m you turn left and reach a hunting shed. Then you turn right, entering Coroiești village. You follow the road to Paroș where you can visit the historical church and the graveyard. Then you descend on the road next to the church towards Zăvoi village and then back to Sălașu de Sus.
