This trail is perfect for knowing the surroundings of Haţeg town, getting to know its history, and meeting the Haţeg Region. From the edge of the town, you will walk on forest roads and easy paths, through forests and clearings, until you get to the Orlea Peak, where the Haţeg Royal Fortress is located. This monument, which gave the name to the town and the whole area, has a mysterious past but is very important for the region. From the fortress to the west, you have the entire Haţeg Region ”at your feet”!
