RETEZAT TOURISM ASSOCIATION<\/h2>\n<\/div><\/div>

The Retezat Tourism Association, established in 2007, is the management unit whose main goal is to develop and promote the \u021aara Ha\u021begului Ecotourism Destination.<\/p>\n

The destination was established based on a partnership formed by institutions and units involved in the fields of tourism, environmental protection, education and local and central public administration and is financed, since 2015, by the Romanian American Foundation and the Partnership Foundation.<\/p>\n

Tourists arriving here will discover unique natural landscapes, medieval churches, houses and fortresses, caves inhabited since the Paleolithic, bison and even dinosaurs. Local legends, traditional products and hospitable people complete the unique tourist experience!<\/p>\n

\u021aara Ha\u021begului is an ecotourism destination certified by the Ministry of Tourism since 2016.<\/p>\n

Another project managed by the Retezat Tourism Association is the Casa C\u00e2nda Guesthouse, located in \u021aara Ha\u021begului (com. S\u0103la\u0219u de Sus), one of the gateways to Retezat. The guesthouse was purchased thanks to a loan granted by the Romanian – American Foundation.<\/p>\n<\/div><\/div><\/div><\/div><\/div><\/div><\/div><\/section>
